Haunted Hotel 2 -Believe the Lies is a hidden objects puzzle game. This second edition of the strategic game developed by Specialbit for Big Fish Games presents a story where players play the role of an FBI agent who has taken the case of the mystery surrounding a Hotel, The Lonely Star, and discovered that the mystery is deeper than he had thought in the first place. No one can escape from the hotel until its mysteries are unveiled.
The game leads you through different scenes in which you will have to discover the hidden objects indicated in the board on the right. Some of the objects you will find along will help you to get to the next level and solve the mysteries. There are hint options and these will help you figure out what to do with the inventory items and they will also help you locate items that are on your list. Some thoughts will appear at the bottom of scenes and these will help you to know what to do in the game. If you forget them, you can always go to the journal to remember them.
Every time you complete a scene you are taken to a mini game where you have to, sometimes, solve puzzles, or figure out the code for a door to open and get right through the next scene. |

- Too short and the hidden objects are monotonous. Mini games are not quite challenging.
